NO EXCUSES

Hello again.

And a special hello to Jeff of NO EXCUSES OUTDOORS — television show! I was very impressed the first time that I went to your website and listened to your theme song. It was definitely a priviledge to meet the singer songwriter, Dale Littleton, and listen to his new music. I will add deails and a link so others can share his music also.

Great meeting and visiting with all of you at the NWTF Convention in Nashville.

MY seminar went well — 100 to 125 people in the audience. If you are interested in information on the topic: Make the Shot Count, you will be pleased to find an article by the same title that I will post within a week.

If you were in the audience at the Ladies Lunchon, I trust that you saw some Foxy Huntress Clothes that you can not do without. You can find them at special prices on the website. We had a lot of fun strutting our stuff on the runway, but the turkey woods are calling my name.

I got to visit with lots of old friends and as always, I met some new people that are now considered friends. One such person is Kevin Blake Weldon, a singer songwriter from the Nashville area. You must check out his music. If you are a hunter, he has a song that you can relate to.

Well, the library is closing and they are getting ready to turn out the lights. I guess that means that I must let you go for now.

More Harrisburg

The winds were gusting at up to 70 mph outside as the isles continued to be scattered with patrons visiting the Harrisburg Sport Show. After spending yesterday in the room fighting the discomforts of the Harrisburg Crud (Stomach Virus or Flu) or whatever it was, I was glad to return to the Show.

Once again, I had an opportunity to visit with folks that I had met over the last few years including a young man named Joey whom I helped three years ago with the purchase and tuning of his first bow. Now he and his father are making plans to hunt with MO Majic Outfitters, an outfitting business owned by my husband Dan DeWitt and Daniel Cordray of Missouri. Other Raven Wear patrons that I measured for clothes will be our guests in MO this fall. It definitely pays to be good to people. I look forward to having these folks as guests in our home and hope they find incredible success in our woods.

Tonight Dan and I had dinner with friends from Warthog Safaris of South Africa. Oh to dream of returning to the Dark Continent to hunt again!! Watching their footage and looking at their photo albums makes me yearn for Africa. The smells, the sounds, the sunsets are all vividly etched in my memory. I can’t wait to return.

But first, I must catch some sleep and give my body time to recover from this bug!

Good night all.

Joella
